Things never happen as planned

Last week, I did some research on Language Framing and really interested in learning more about it. Researching on Language Framing on climate change led me to 'educating girl can help climate change' which bring up a very random thought in my mind; girls are embarrassed to pull out tampon or pad in public when they need to change one.

What if there is a product that girls can put a tampon in and carry around while no one notice?  I was attracted by this random idea so I immediately started to sketch out rough ideas and eventually made two concept prototype and one functional prototype.

I was planning doing user test on Language Framing effect, but that random thought break my entire plan. Even though I didn't finished what I planning to do, while making the prototype, I really feels like I making things that will have big impact and very enjoyed making it. I think this is what make my thesis project more fun; one random thought sparkled and I made that sparkle blows, even though that sparkle was never part of the plan.

Paper prototype is the best

I made two quick paper prototypes and learned what I can improve in my design while making the paper prototype. This help me save a lot of time from making mistake in my functional prototype.
